I dont want to sound negative...but Im going to, just for a little bit...

Im beginning to remember why I stopped using DA two years ago. I've been spending some time since I came back online just refreshing the home page watching new deviations come up and commenting on the ones I think are interesting. But sometimes its difficult to find any! And I just end up clicking refresh over and over without finding anything really worth more than a glance. Id really like DA to be a serious online art community where you can put up a piece of work and people will give you honest and constructive feedback, and you can flick through pages of other peoples work that has had time and thought put into it and be inspired or give feedback yourself. But there seems to be a lot of garbage getting in the way. I KNOW there are really, really talented and hard working people on here, it just annoys me that you have to spend such a long time looking for them. To be honest, at the moment Im sick of seeing so many damn self portraits. Why does the younger generation feel the need to take so many photos of itself!?!
